The book is available through the Beaver County Genealogical Society for $8.50. Mt. Pleasant "Wilson" Cemetery in Darlington Twp. The Mt. Pleasant/Wilson Cemetery was established on the land of the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church on the banks of Little Beaver Creek, one mile east of Darlington. On the first Sabbath of November, 1797 the Presbytery of Ohio sent Rev. Mr. McDonald to conduct services at Mt. Pleasant. William and Leah Wilson sold four acres of land to the Mt. Pleasant Congregation for $5.00. The first recorded burials ("tombstone dates") are THOMAS HARTSHORE, of "Red Hill" Darlington Township who came in 1797 from Cecil County Maryland and died 1800 at age 80 years, and SAMUEL SEMPLE who died November 7, 1804 at age 75 years.
