He suffered a train accident On March 17, 1870, and lost a leg in the accident. This resulted in his death the following day. Indications are that he would have been buried in the Beaver Falls, New Brighton, or Beaver area, but I cannot overlook the Columbiana County around Wellsville. Any info such as the cemetery or an obituary ( His daughter Lucy B. McCreary is my Great great grandmother) will be most welcome.
