I have a Joseph Powell b. 1740 in Chester Co., PA, son of David Powell and Elizabeth Chalfant. Joseph married Brabara Boehm/Beam. They had a son named Joseph b. 1794 in Washington Co., PA. The elder Joseph did live in Beaver Co. also. Is this the one you need? Thanks for writing. Other researchers have told me "our" Joseph did indeed marry a Barbara BOEHM/BEAM, but no one has any proof of that statement, so I am not sure. However, Joseph did live awhile in Beaver and did own land and die there so this might be the same one. Our Joseph died in the 1840-s so that would make him near 100 when he died f he is the same as yours.
