Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.beaver/1892.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I checked the census below - what I don't understand is the 1850 and 1870 census make sense being in Beaver, PA - but the 1860 is in a different place - although names and age dates work. I also found a William Smith in the 1860 census in Venango cty., age is in line with that of William, son of Thomas, in 1850 census in Economy, Beaver, cty. of course, none of this proves that this is 'my' David Smith, who would be my great-grandfather..... hmmm.. more researching to do... thanks so much for your information. Are you in this Smith family?
Hello listers, Just wanted to let you know that 14 listers stepped forward to type the Index to Divorces, etc. Thanks so much to all of you for volunteering. The BCGS should have the final project completed and on the shelf in about a month or two. Alice

You might try the Laughlin Memorial Free Library, 99 11th St., Ambridge, PA 15003 (724)266-3857 Alice
You could contact the Diocese of Pittsburgh, they would have the records of a marriage and the baptisms of the children and the sponsors, that might give you some clues to other family members. http://www.diopitt.org/archives/archives.htm Alice -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Christina Paulson" <cpaulson@tampabay.rr.com> > I'm looking for information on John Sokolowksy.
