    3. Hi There is listed a George Showalter who died in 1885. No will, but death registered docket 4, page 459. If this is one of your clan, you can get copy from the County Courthouse. At least you could a number of years ago. Anybody know different? Couldn't find any Sagers. Hope it helps Marcia ---------- From: Linda & John <jonmylin@worldnet.att.net> To: PABEAVER-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [PABEAVER-L] Sager & Showalter families Date: Sunday, February 21, 1999 12:49 AM Hello List The recent rollcall made me think I should get my interests out there as well. I am interested in confirming that my ancestors brother actually did move to Beaver Co Pa as I've seen written in several historical references. I am looking for any mentions of Samuel SAGER , born 1778, died about 1859 ?Beaver Co & wife Susanna SHOWALTER SAGER; in Beaver Co after 1816. They previous to that lived in Trumbull Co Ohio where father Gabriel & brother William lived. Samuel left after father Gabriel's death. Samuel & Susanna had 3 children I know of: Margaret m John CHAPMAN; Elizabeth; & Sarah. I can only assume he left to join other relatives in Beaver Co. It seems strange that he would go east when the general progression was to go west & other members of this family did just that. Anyone else researching SAGERs in this county or have any thoughts on that move to Beaver Co? This family had previously lived in Bucks Co Pa & in Shenandoah Co Va Linda Phoenix AZ PS Just reading through todays posts & see a couple SHOWALTER references so that looks promising. ==== PABEAVER Mailing List ==== You can unsubscribe by clicking below for the regular list: mailto:PABEAVER-L-request@rootsweb.com Click below for the digest list: mailto:PABEAVER-D-request@rootsweb.com In the BODY include only one word: unsubscribe (Please turn OFF your signature file when sending the message)
