2. On the recent inquiry for Dilworth family, and for anyone else researching in the Darlington/Little Beaver area, there are two wonderful Dilworth diaries for sale @ Clossonpress.com Not only is there much info on the Dilworths included, but mention is made of many marriages, deaths, baptisms, etc. which were attended by Rev. Robert Dilworth. I have copies of both diaries and they were one of the best investments I have made in Beaver County books. Rev. Dilworth married many of my ancestors and baptized their children. There is even a photo of him (he's not pretty) and a bio @ Western PA photos http://www.rootsweb.com/~pawphoto/ under "men of the cloth". I have nothing to gain by promoting the Closson Books, but I have bought many books from them in the past, and they are very dependable, and of high quality. Jean in California

    3. FYI There are LOTS of Dilworths in East Palestine, OH. There is also a Fowler family located there, Danny and Frank are two of the names that I remember. Also, Quay, is a BIG name in Negley, OH. I believe one of the men was a president of a bank (perhaps, First National Bank) in East Palestine, OH. He had a large farm located on St. Rt. 170. East Palestine and Negley, OH are located just across the PA line. If I remember correctly, East Palestine was once called Mechanicsburg. She passed in 1964 in Michigan and was taken back to PA to be buried. She married Adam Spalding in 1897 and they had four children: Eugene Robert, Clem Adam, Lottie Margaret (my grandmother) and Elmer Charles. Anyone have any clues they could give me?
