I am searching for John REED, born 1816/17 in Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth HOPPER and appears on the 1850-1880 Lewistown, Mifflin County, PA censuses. I am searching for the "needle in the haystack"--he was born somewhere in PA, but probably not in Mifflin. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Sharon, Sharon_ra@msn.com and Sharon_ra2@yahoo.com. (AOL users please use Yahoo account)

I am hoping someone can tell me about the family of Samuel and Hannah Mary Merriman of who were living in Moon Twp., Beaver Co in 1910. They had one son, Garnet Walker Merriman who (I think) died in January of 1967. There was another son, Audrey Cecil and a daughter Ruth. More children? Death dates? Buried where? obits? Who did their children marry or where did they go? One son, James Stewart Merriman, went to East Liverpool and raised his family and I have information about them. Hannah Mary Morrow was born in Carroll Co., Ohio about 1863 and raised by her mother's brother James Andrews after her mom died. Her father moved to Wisconsin and Kansas with her siblings and married twice again. Samuel Merriman was born in Pennsylvania about 1858 and I have no other information about him. Serena in Michigan
Where is there a listing of WWI draft cards for OH veterans? Is there a place? Cathy
