I haven't yet settled on one line to research, so I am becoming a bit overloaded with information from all of the different lines. I'm researching hispanic names in New Mexico, Dutch/German names in New York, and English/Irish names in Pennsylvania. I have dead-ended at a couple of Armstrong County names. David PUTNEY, born 18 OCT 1794 in Connecticut married Lavinia STEVENSON in Pittsburgh. I have been unable to find anything that tells me his birth place. He was a member of the IOOF, a state legislator in 1854, and the founder of Putneyville. Harry E. J. PUTNEY born 1862 or 1865 married Marie JONES, daughter of David and Emma JONES. I need Harry's birth date and Marie's mother's maiden name and date of death. Harry E. J. PUTNEY, was a businessman (real estate, insurance 1900-1910?) in Kittanning. He was an organizer of the Chicago Air Brake Co. He disappeared when his wife, Marie Jones died. This PUTNEY was listed as PIETNEY on the 1910 census, and Marie was still alive at that time.
