    2. Hello, Brian Thanks for the information about the photographs. I would be interested in getting more information about the photos if you have it. I am interested, personally, in the furnaces of Blair, Huntingdon and Bedford counties, as an ancestor of mine was an ironmaster in this area. Of course, two of the finest references on the subject of early iron manufacture in Pennsyvania are Pennyslvania Iron Manufacture in the Eighteenth Century written by Arthur C. Bining in 1938. I believe it has been reprinted. Another interesting read is Iron in All Ages by James M. Swank, published in 1884. I do not know if it has been reprinted, but am sure it is on microfilm somewhere.
