Well, I didn't find you in my Knisely history, nor did I find your Nicely family on the 1850 census of Armstrong co., PA. However, if you know George's death date is after 1906, you should send for his death certificate, which may tell you his parents, etc. Sometimes, death cert's are a big disappointment, but once in a while you strike gold. If you find out his parents, let me know and I will check the Knisely history again. Seems like you should belong in here somewhere.
