Don't overlook this time period. You may get lucky I called the The Register and Recorder's office in Kittanning, and they assured me that they don't have any births that early. Are they hidden away somewhere that everyone doesn't know about? Or could you have found them at a library or historical society? I have two Armstrong ancestors born in 1854.
