I have located a Philip L. Smith in the Brick Church Cemetery(St. Michaels). He was born 1/28/1839 and died 6/23/1914. You mention A.S. Doutt's pension papers. Was he a civil war veteran from Armstrong County? If so, he has never been credited with service from this County. If he served from Armstrong County in any era please advise so I may update my military service records.
