I'm researching the Edward KELLEY family. Edward, his wife Elizabeth, daughters Elizabeth Kelley SMITH b. abt. 1775, Nancy b. 1783, Jane, and sons Azariah, William, and James settled in Armstrong county shortly after 1800. Edward's son John b. 1774 - d. 1849 lived in Huntingdon Co. and later in Dempseytown- Venango Co. with wife Mary Ann BEATTY Kelley. The Edward KELLEY family lived in Redbank Township then later in Clarion Township. Edward died abt. 1812. Azariah and his wife Jane BEATTY Kelley and children (3 sons-possibly named William, Joseph, and George and 4 daughters) stayed in Armstrong County (later the area they lived was made part of Clarion County). I'm not certain if William (wife Elizabeth) & James (wife Ann) remained in either Armstrong or Clarion counties. If anyone is researching this KELLEY line, I would appreciate hearing from you.
