    1. Re: [PAARMSTR-L] William D. JONES
    2. Ted, I, too, am looking for a Jones family that has been eluding me. All I know about them is the following: A David and Emma JONES were the parents of Marie JONES. On July 19, 1899, she married Harry E. J. PUTNEY, most likely in Kittanning. She had four children: Jean (who may have been Harriet E. Jean) David Judson (listed on the 1910 census as Judeth) Madge M. Frances C. She died sometime between 1918 and 1920. Harry E. J. departed for places unknown. I have census records on order to try to find out more about David and Emma, but haven't received them yet. If you have these JONES in your family tree, I could sure use the help! Also, how do I go about getting a marriage record for this pair, or a death certificate for Marie? I am pretty sure both events occurred in Kittanning, but don't have a way to verify that. The other possibility I know of might be Putneyville for the marriage, since many family members lived there. If they were married wherever she was from, then I have no idea where the marriage occurred.
