Did you send to New Castle in PA for his death record? If he died after 1906, and you know the exact date and place, it seems as though they should be able to find _something_ for him. Sometimes they are really picky about exact dates, etc, but most of the time they will check around for you. They ALWAYS keep your $3 whether their search is successful or not! Sometimes I think I would like to get into those birth and death records and do some checking around myself. Imagine the genealogy we could all get done if we could "browse" in New Castle!
