I am currently researching the descendents of Henry Zerfoss who died in Kittanning Township, Armstrong County in 1831. Also Daniel Zerbe/Zerby, the first man killed in battle with the 78th. Regiment. Daniel's widow, Mary Allen, remarried Alexander Burkett. Any information would be appreciated. To whoever posted the query about Andrew and Mary Nelson, Mary was a Zerfoss, daughter of John and either the neice or granddaughter of Henry Zerfoss. Thanks Fred Brient
