    1. [PAARMSTR-L] John G. Hahn b 1818 Wuerttemburg GER in Butler/Armstrong Cos
    2. Swifthahn
    3. Need help with the following: John G. HAHN was probably born about 1818 in Wuerttemburg, Stuttgart, Germany. There is a John G. HAHN listed in Philby's PHILADELPHIA NATURALIZATION RECORDS. He was the minister of St. Paul's German Evangelical Lutheran Church in Millerstown Borough, Butler Co. In 1851 he married Mary Ann ELLENBERGER (details of marriage not known) of Sherrett, Armstrong Co. They had children born in IN, MI, OH and in Armstrong Co and Peachville, Fairview Twp, Butler Co. He was probably in those places as a Lutheran minister. I do not know his parents, ancestors, proof of birth, when and from where and on what ship he emigrated or whether he was with his family. I do not know where he first settled or was naturalized, whether or not he owned property, or where he and his wife Mary Ann ELLENBERGER were buried, though their deaths were probably 1883-1889 in Butler Co. There is a John HAHN @92 in the Butler Co 1880CS who is, I suppose a possible father or uncle.I have some data on his children, especially Christian Frederick HAHN (my paternal grandfather) who settled in Wyandotte Co KS with brothers Augustus and Paul. Christian Hahn married Martha Defries b 1866 Wyandotte Co KS. They later moved to White City Morris Co KS and then to Topeka Shawnee Co KS where they died and are buried. Would like to exchange information on the HAHN and ELLENBERGER (And FAIR) families. Tom Swiftwater HAHN~~~, Fort Myers FL
