I am still looking for my Smiths who lived in Armstrong Co., PA. They were in Redbank Township in 1850 and in Wayne Township in 1860. Here is what I have gleaned from the census: Philip SMITH (b:abt 1800, PA) m:Mary McFARLAND (b:abt 1810, PA), resided in Armstrong Co., PA (1850 and 1860 census). Possible children (from census) Caroline, b:abt 1828, PA Peggy A., b:abt 1830, PA Elizabeth, b:abt 1835, PA Samuel, b:abt 1836, PA James, b:abt 1837, PA Sarah G., b:1840, PA, m:1864, Armstrong Co., PA, Absalom Solomon DOUTT Philip, b:abt 1841, PA George, b:1846, PA Thompson P., b:1849, PA Children I am sure of are Sarah (my g.grandmother) and Samuel.
