I have just recently discovered that my gggrandfather was living in or near Yatesboro at the time of his death on March 5, 1900. He died as a result of injuries he received in a mining accident. Would the library in Kittanning have relevant newspaper articles on this incident as well as an obituary? What mines would have been in operation at this time? Thanks in advance!
