She was born in Armstrong Co., Templeton, Pine Twp on May 1, 1865. David M. NOLDER was born in PA, on May 5, 1853. I have an 1860 census record from Pine Twp. Armstrong Co. which I believe is David's parents. NOLDER James 39 M Farmer 700 300 PA Catherine 38 F Hwife George 18 m Mary 15 f Jacob 13 m Robert 11 m Prissilla 8 f DAVID 6 m Julia 4 f Catherine 8/12 I would note that I believe there are NOLDERS listed in the History of Armstrong Co. as early residents there. David and Luraney moved with my Grandparents, Daniel & Sophia ANDERSON to Greely Colorado, and then on to Redlands, CA where David died at age 73. Their first child was named Arthur Marshall NOLDER, and I suspect the Marshall was Davids middle name as well. Somewhere I also have a newspaper article from I believe Freeport saying that D.M. NOLDERS store burned. David was apparently a merchant most of his life and owned a store in Redlands. Neil, Thanks so much for your response. I'm sure our Nolders must have been connected but my Jane Nolder was born earlier than the ones you mentioned. Jane is the only Nolder I have in my tree so far. She married George W. McGuire and their daughter, Nancy jane was born in Freeport in 1854. I found these records on the Armstrong Co. page: 1830 Armstrong Co. census index John Nolder Robert Nolder Samuel Nolder all in Plum Creek 1820 census Armstrong Co. James Nolder John W, Nolder Robert Nolder all in Plum Creek Please let me know if you find anything new. Susan
