Jim, Thanks for the reply. In the 1870 census, I expected to find John O Miller in Brady's Bend. Is Perry in Armstrong or Butler co? Rudolph Miller was son to John O and Nancy Snow Miller. Alex may have been a brother to John O Miller, but it has been difficult to track such a common last name as MILLER. The Nicholas SNOW family I did get a hard copy of the 1880 and 1870 census. These families were both in Brady's Bend. I wonder about 1860. I am not sure of the Nicholas SNOW in Perry TWP. The N. Snow in Brady's Bend fathers' name was also Nicholas Snow. The age is not right for the father of my Nicholas Snow because he was born in 1819. I read the census of 1870 and my Nicholas Snow to be 57, not 37. You might look closely, I believe this is my Nicholas Snow since his wife is named Rachel. I know my Nancy Elizabeth had a younger brother named George who was at her funeral. There is a George listed on the 1870 as 6 years under his father Nicholas and mother Rachel. The numbers you give for the roll, 1301 is not the same method that is used in the LDS library. What is this numbering system? Is it the number to use when ordering from the National Archives? Many thanks for the great information. I appreciate all your help. Regards, Maureen
