The secretary at the church was very nice and let me look at the original record book. I am sure she would answer any questions you may have about your families. In addition, I sent the Historical Society in Indiana some baptismal records from the Presbyterian church that I typed from a microfilm. I am working on some additional Presbyterian records now if you need a look up. Annie >> HELLO ANNIE! I have several family ancestors who were members of West Union Presbyterian Chuch which merged into the Shelocta Community Pres. Church, so I am sure that they would have some records of my family there. According to the short history in the front of the directory, West Union was organized in 1814, with their last service in 1968 when they merged with Shelocta. Shelocta was organized about the same time, but didn't get it's own pastor until 1856. These two merged with Curry Run in 1968. I very much appreciated your offer to do some lookups for me. I have just a few minutes now, but if I may, I will send a "most wanted" list later this afternoon. Thank you very much! Lynnette P.S. I will be mailing a letter of inquiry to the Church today, and I appreciate your information very much!
