Hi to All, I am researching my husband's side of the tree. His ggreat grandfather was John DEVIT/DEVITT and Anna___. Both from Ireland. John was born about 1823 and Anna was born about 1836. I first found them in Brady's Bend, Armstrong Co., PA in the 1860 census. They had two children listed; Mary Anna, 3 yrs old & John 2 yrs old. Mary Anna married Charles DOLAN sometime before 1877. Charles was born in Ireland in 1842 and came to the US in 1863 (according to census records). I don't find Mary Anna and Charles DOLAN until the 1880 Census, Greene Co,IL Does anyone know anything about these DEVIT's or Charles DOLAN. I have other DEVITT's in the Armstrong Co., census records, but can't make a connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Irene Dolan tdolan@alaska.net
