1860 Census Indiana Co.,PA Smicksburgh Borough Dwelling # 2520 William Stewart Age 47 HOTEL KEEPER Martha Stewart Age 41 Keeps House Isabell Stewart Age 21 Housekeeper Eliza Stewart Age 17 Housekeeper John Stewart Age 14 Eveline Stewart Age 12 Robert Stewart Age 10 Rebecca Stewart Age 8 Anjalin Stewart Age 6 The age of Isabella matches very close as to what I have according to the later census. Plus the presence of a Robert Age 10 in the above 1860 census matches the Robert age 20 in the 1870. William Stewart occupation as listed as a HOTEL KEEPER is interesting..being that Smicksburgh is/was a very small town in the 1860. Any idea how to locate perhaps what hotel he was a keeper at? Does anyone have this Stewart family in their family genealogy? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!! Pamela Randolph
