Looking for parents and siblings to the following couple: John Uplinger/Oblinger/Oplinger b. 26 Jun 1826 in PA + Catharine Witwer b. 1830 in PA. She spoke only German. They had 10 children, and after the birth of the first, moved to Summit Co. OH One of the daughters had a very strange name, Gugelind or Gugelin. Anyway, I wondered if it could be the mom's or randma's maiden name or some other family name. No wonder the poor girl went by Emma! This search has frustrated me to no end.
