Hi, Just a quick note to update you on a few things about changes at the Armstrong County Website. 1 - The website has been totally reformatted. I hope you find it easier to use. For those of you with JAVA enable browsers, I have included a navigation menu on each page. 2 - I just installed on Friday a new search engine. This one is much more powerful than the previous one. Stop by and give it a try. 3 - We added a Volunteers Page which lists some projects that you could be a part of. If your interested in helping with one of them, please let Alice or I know. 4 - As you may be aware, it costs money to run and maintain a website. If you'd be interested, we've added a section on the Volunteer Page with information about sponsoring the website for a month. The Westmoreland County USGenWeb Project is committed to providing FREE access to on-line research material. We will never charge for access to anything on this website. 5 - We'll be starting a major project associated with the Armstrong County page in the next few days.
