And now we know you're in Armstrong here's a question on maps. In Smith's History of Armstrong County, he refers to many "base maps", the Lawson & Orr map as an example. Are these available somewhere? Some of Smith's land title exchanges are incomprehensible without them, but I've never seen them. Also, the 1800's little tax assemssment books.
