Since this is a post to multiple lists, pleaser forgive me for duplication. Two different correspondants have given me a David (B) LINDSEY/LINDSAY b overseas abt 1720 emigrated about 1745 married to Mary FLEMMING settled on a farm near where Pittsburgh, PA., is now situated and reportedly died in 1838 (That makes him a very old man !) They agree on the first four of five children: Hezekiah, Edward/Edmund, David, William and Caleb. In 1807, Edmund and Caleb show up in Clermont County, Ohio. I was not able to locate any of them in Western Pennsylvania in the 1790,1800,1810 census, however my old eyes may have missed them. If anyone has any information on this family it will be gratefully accepted. Someone had posted an inquiry to a group this past week seeking some LINDSEYs. If that person e-mails me I will go through this new information, of over 1000 names, for them.
