Hello, I have a copy of a book called "The Village of Madison" written by Martha Miller in 1976. It is a history of Madison. There is a picture of the classes in the school taken in 1898, which shows that there were TEN (10) FISHER's in grades 1 - 6 at that time. I am a descendent of one or several of them. Can anyone enlighten me on where they came from, who they came from, and where did they go? This has been a perplexing problem for me for quite a while. I am the son of CHARLES CLARENCE FISHER, b.1916, who is the son of GEORGE MARKER FISHER, b.1882 (in Pleasant Valley), who is the son of GEORGE LAWRENCE FISHER, b. 1849 in Leechburg). We lived in Madison from about 1939 to 1949. I went to that same school for 6 years. Thank you, anyone , who can be of assistance in helping me put this together. Best Regards, George W.
