Jean I currently have access to the 1870 Armstrong Co census microfilms, until Sunday. Anyone can get them by having your local library get them from the NARA, via inter-library exchange. Armstrong Co is on films 1300 and 1301. I seem to recall seeing Sugar Creek Twp as one of the geographical subdivisions. In my own research I have found references to Allegheny Twp, which no longer exists, it is now Gilpin Twp, Bethel Twp, and Parks Twp. Sugar Creek Twp may not currently exist, however another piece of data on the census sheets was the post office serving the census area. Fred Held
