Sherry, Thanks so much for checking the census for me. You saved me a trip to the library. I can't figure out why Edward R. Runyan wasn't on the census if he was born in Kittanning and his son, Calvin was born there in 1854. Maybe the census taker missed him. thanks again. Susan
