good morning, I am seeking an obituary from a Kittanning newspaper. Ann MCGARRY passed on September 11, 1914. She passed on in Philadephia, and several days later was buried in Kittanning (her hometown). What Kittanning newspaper from 1914 might have published an obit? What library might have such a paper? I don't know if things have changed in the last 8 years, but the last time I tried to get anything from microfilm of the Kittanning paper (which now is the Times-Leader), only the newspaper office has the microfilm of the newspapers from Kittanning. Since you have an exact date, they might be able to make a photocopy for you. I had a month and year, and that was it, didn't hear from them about my request, so called them a couple months later, and was told they didn't have time to do research for me.
