    1. Re: [PAARMSTR-L] Rearick researchers
    2. I do not know who my grandmother's father and mother were. I was 15 when my grandmother died in 1956, and was not too interested in family then, I remember taking my Gaunt Olive Hawk and my grandmother Zula Belle Wagner Weckerly to Chicora on Memorial Day to put flowers on their parents grave. My grandmother Zula Belle Wagner ws married to an Alvin Ernest Weckerly. They had two sons, Clair and Dean. Clair (my dad) was born May 13, 1911 and died July 1, 1971 Dean was born May 24, 1917 and passed away in 1985?(. I do not have my notes here to read) Dad lived all his life in (Hagantown), Parker, Pa. Uncle Dean lived all his married life in Bruin, Pa. My grandmother had one sister--Olive Wagner Gifford Hawk. She lived all her married lfe in Bruin. Pa. Had one brother--Harry Wagner, who lived in Karns City,Pa. When I was growing up I remember a newspaper article that my grandmother had kept. It was about the masacre at what today is the Old Stone House near Slippery Rock. She told me that she was relatd to these people and that there was a survivor, a baby. At 14 to 17 I was not really interested, but today at 65, I am into genealogy and would like to know more about her family. I have written to three Dick Wagner's--one in West Sunbury, who called me today and said he was not related. His father, lives on Old Rt 8 and is no relation to the Wagner's I described. I am waiting to hear from on more Richard Wagner, I know that my grandmother's brother Harry Wagner had a son named Richard Wagner, who was raised in Karns City. Possibly living in or near Butler. I have not seen this Richard Wagner since my grandmother died in 1956 The Richard Wagner fom West Sunbury said he has history of Wagner's back to 1800. I am going to all him tomorrow and see who he has. Thank you for writing. Did you see my query on Butler site? Will be looking forward to hearing from you.

    3. Hi, I saw this post and just have to ask if this Zula Wagner (your grandmother) had a twin Lula Wagner? Their parents were: Bruce Wagner and Zora Campbell. Let me know please. I have photos of these girls. They would be great aunts to me. Bruce's brother Otis Wagner was my great grandfather. My Wagner's settled in West Wheatfield twp. Indiana, Co. PA. I have lots of info on them if anyone is interested. The Rearicks are also a main line in my tree. Have a great weekend, Lori, in Indiana, PA [email protected] The Genealogy Express http://www.geocities.com/genealogy_express Surnames from Indiana, Co.
