Hello all, My name is Ray Longacre and reside in the flatter part of the state (the east) and I wish to learn more about my mother's families from Armstrong Co. I have done family research for over 25 years, mostly my father's side from Philadelphia. Now over the past few years I have started on my moms in Columbiana Co.,OH and Armstrong Co. They are from the southern part Armstrong Co. for the most part. I have run into a few road blocks along the way. I will hope to share information about the above listed surnames. My biggest problem at this point is Barnabas Blose and when he died. I find him last in Kiskiminetas Twp. in the 1860 census and his wife Susan (Learn) Blose in 1870 Kittanning Twp. without him.. I find his son Barney Jr. in Brady's Bend in 1870 and 80. Barnabas was a wagon maker in his later years, as was his son Barney Jr. Thank you, Ray Longacre
