Don't know if this man fits into anyone's family tree, but thought I would post it here just in case. St. Marys Daily Press, Elk County, PA July 31, 2001 FERRIS, Frank L. "Squeaky", aged 76 of 630 Brusselles Street, St. Marys, PA passed away Friday, July 27, 2001 at the Elk Haven Nursing Home. He was born August 13, 1924 in Kittanning, PA son of the late James and Ida (BOWSER) FERRIS. On June 8, 1946, in the Sacred Heart Church, he married Josephine A. IORFIDA FERRIS, who preceded him in death on May 13, 1996. Mr. Ferris was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. He retired from Airco Speer in 1992 after 50 years of service. He was a veteran of WW II, having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by one son, Frank J. Ferris, of St. Marys; two daughters, Sharon (Mrs. Robert) VELEY, and Joyce (Mrs. Steven) HARRIGAN, both of St. Marys; 7 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Clara Van Alstine; and one brother, Robert Ferris. There will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Frank L. Ferris at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 323 Center Street, St. Marys, PA on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Daniel Wolfel, O.S.B. as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery. The Lynch-Green Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
