Hi I am researching Schmitts from Alleghney county. The spelling has changed back and forth from Schmidt to Schmitt. Mine are from Sharpsburg and Homestead but one Ferdnand Schmitt went to Chicago before 1904. I am looking for Waltenbaugh and Smith in Armstrong Co.
