I've "rescued" an old marriage certificate belonging to Samuel CULP of Armstrong County, Pennsylvania and Lucinda MUFFLEY of Apollo, Pennsylvania who were married on the 4th of March 1875. The marriage was performed by Earl D. HOLTZ of the Apollo M.E. Church and witnessed by Mrs. Kate MCQUILKIN and Mrs. L.L. HOLTZ. Based on limited research I believe that Samuel E. CULP (age 31 b. in PA) and his wife Lucinda R. CULP (age 29 b. in PA) were living in Kiskiminitas, PA during the 1880 census along with their son Frank W. CULP (age 3 b. in PA) and Samuel's brother Edgar T. CULP (age 22 b. in PA). Both Samuel and Lucinda list their parents as having been born in PA also. I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this precious piece of family history can be returned to the family.
