I appreciate you searching the PA census for Salome and I, too, am sorry that you didn't find anyone that could have been "our" Salome in Westmoreland, PA . Were any of the 39 Salome's you found in PA born circa 1825/6? Are you also researching Uber's and/or the families they married into? Thanks, again.
