Tom I checked the Mormon site and ancestry.com and I do not even see a listing in Highland, Clarion Co. for your Lewis France did you spell it exactly the way you saw it on the census Donna

Oops...that would be Lewis Frantz. I got confused because he appears in 1850 and 18790 as France.
