October 26, 1921 FIFTY YEARS OF WEDDED LIFE FITTINGLY CELEBRATED All of Ten Children Present to Greet Parents on Occasion Mr. and Mrs. William A. Hanna celebrated their golden wedding at their home at Ben Avon, south of town, in White township, on Saturday when they were greeted by all their ten children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a company of friends. The home was attractively decorated with fall flowers in honor of the occasion which proved a delightful reunion. Following the dinner served at noon a sketch of the couple was given and the bride and groom of fifty years ago were showered with a number of gifts including a purse of gold. Mr. Hanna's bride was Susan Linsenbigler, and the couple were married at Elderton October 22, 1871. For many years they resided at Indiana, locating in Ben Avon recently. Their union was blessed with 11 children, one having died several years ago. The names of the surviving children and their families present were J. T. Hanna and family, of Canton, O.; Herman Beatty and wife, Kelly Station; J. W. Hefflefinger and family and Harry Beck and family, of Indiana; Lloyd Whitlinger and family, of Apollo; B. O. Baker and family, Vandergrift; J. V. Waugaman and family, Braeburn; J. B. Cummins and family, Indiana; Daisy Hanna at home, and Claude Lentz and family, Harrisburg. March 22, 1922 Mr. and Mrs. George Hanna and little daughter, Louise, and William Hanna, of Boswell, visited at the home of Clyde Tyger over Sunday. Hanna of Indiana is at liberty on $500 bail, as a result of an automobile wreck last evening, here, in which the car he was driving was damaged. About 7 o'clock the Hanna car and the car of Merle Walker, driven by his daughter Lois, came together at the corner of Eleventh and Philadelphia streets. The cars were not badly damaged. Allen, of the local police force, took Hanna to a local doctor's office for examination. He was then taken to the office of 'Squire Walter H.
