The stuff Abby posted was mostly about South Bend. ..... Abby - thanks mucho for that! I had a few of those items, but not the news of my great great grandmother's death - AND not that Alvie Hanna was her son. That makes the situation even more strange. I now have 4 men connected to her - Mr. Hanna, Michael Silvis, Mr. Wherry, and Josiah George. (I suspect John N. Wherry and William Hanna!!) If anybody out there is a South bend expert, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Harvey Hanna ran the general store in South Bend in 1930.
