I'm looking at the 1870 census for Madison Township, and I'm trying to make out the trade or status of my subject, Thomas Polliard. For example, in this column are "At House," "Keeping House," "Tailor," etc. The one I can't read looks like "On Monies" -which is repeated throughout the census - none of which I can make out. Help! Tom
Tom: Very likely it is "Ore Miner" many of my Anthony line were listed under that profession.
