I have DUNMIRE's in Blair County in 1850. However, I am hitting brick walls and thought that I would try posting here since there were many DUNMIRE's in Armstrong County, in the hopes that someone may find a connection. Michael DUNMIRE would have been born about 1820. His wife's name was Mary Ann (maiden name unknown). The 1850 census indicates that they were both born in Germany. It also shows 2 children, Ephraim (born 27 Apr 1848 PA) and Cather (I guess Catherine?....born about 1849 in PA). Ephraim is my gr-gr grandfather. He married Susan CARLES and they resided in the Frankstown area of Blair County. I cannot find anything on Michael DUNMIRE prior to 1850. Would appreciate ANY help! Abby
