I have just read the will of Barbara Clever Beck, second wife of Jacob Beck. No mention of any children for Barbara and Jacob is made in that will. Yet on the 1850 census, there is a female, born in 1833, named Ruth Beck living with them. Also a female Barbara Clever born in 1836. Is Ruth the Daughter of Jacob and Barbara? If not who are her parents? And who are the parents of Barbara Clever? Any help would be appreciated. Norma Rogers.
