I have a John Crawford, born 1776 who ended up in Armstrong County. With a birth date like that and moving to the same area as Mathias, one could hope that they were brothers. Do you know if there were more than one clan of Crawfords in Armstrong County? Do you know anything about Mathias siblings? John had 2 large families, first with Mary ____, many of whom were born in the early 1800's, and then with Sarah _____. I do not have dates for Sarah's children, but I would assume they were from the later teens or 1820's.
