William Green came to Fayette, then Armstrong Counties Pennsylvania, with three sons and a daughter. The sons were Samuel, John, and James. The daugher was Margaret who married Daniel Fitzgerald. Son John Green married an Elizabeth Gould. Both are buried in the Green family cemetery in Armstrong, North Buffalo Township. Goulds are numerous in early Armstrong county per Smith's1883 History of Armstrong County. Father William Green married a Mary Huey. Where I do not know. Most likely New Jersey, Sussex County, around Johnsonsburg. The death certificate of one of the children identies here with the last name Huey. Another certificate identifies here with only the first name Mary. The time frame is 1760-1800. Huey's are also in early Fayetter county records. Fayette was settled before Armstrong.
