    2. There was a Private Nicholas Snow from Armstrong County who served in the 103rd. Pa Infantry, Company B during the Civil War and died March 11, 1865. He is buried in the US General Hospital Cemetery, Annapolis, Md. Many of the men in this regiment died in Annapolis after being released from Andersonville Prison. Fred Brient

    3. I am looking for more information on Clara Amanda ROSS (1871-1915) who married David Andrew ROSS (1865-1924) in 1889. They had the same last name prior to their marriage. Clara's parents were John A. ROSS (1827-1913) and Elizabeth Ann TURNEY (1832-1910). Clara was born in Craigsville, Armstong Co., PA. Her mother Elizabeth was born in Rural Valley, Armstrong Co., PA. I don't know where her father was from. Clara's husband is from Butler Co., their children (Mable, John, and Charles) were born in Butler Co., also. Thanks Sandy Ross Oregon

    2. Hello Maureen, In the book History of Indiana Co., Penna 1745-1880 A Nicholas Snow, Blacksmith is listed as a taxable inhabitant of Conemaugh Twp., Indiana Co., PA for A.D. 1807 On page 411 a Rebecca Snow is shown married to James McIntire. Good Luck Lillian LSchiendel@aol.com

I didn't find them when looking in the Family History Library and wonder if someone might be better at this adventure than I am? This family lived in the Bradys Bend area, but have been known to also live in the Franklin/Oil City areas too (Venango County). Any insight to this family would be most appreciated.
