    3. Dear Monette: I saw your posting about the Heilman connection and I have a loose-end Heilman that I have always wanted to track down: Christina Heilman b. 10/31/1821 Armstrong Co., d. 1899; married William Truby, on 2/10/1840 in Armstrong Co. (he was born in Greensburg on 8/12/1812 and d. July, 1899 in Armstrong Co.) Do you by chance have any information about her? I would appreciate anything you you might have as I know nothing about the Heilman family. Thanks, Jane

    3. Dear John: I have a couple of Parkers tucked into my family tree with no connections and when I saw your posting, I thought maybe you might have some information about them: (1) Julia Barger Parker m. John T. Marshall b. abt 1832, probably in Parker, but certainly somewhere in Armstrong County. (2) John Parker who married Emma Leonard, last century, also probably in Parker. Thanks, Jane

    3. I'm quite sure everybody knows this already, because I've been such a pest about it, but I am always on the lookout for BISH. I am also interested in finding descendents of Jennie Yale, born about 1848 in Armstrong co., PA. She married a William Stelcer, and died in Rimersburg, Clarion Co., PA. I don't know if anyone has family in Clearfield County, PA, but I am putting some Clearfield county cemtery listings on my homepage. They are all in the northwestern corner of the county in Huston, Sandy, and Union Twp with plans for getting into Brady Twp weather permitting. My URL is http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Pointe/6665 Go down the page and click on "Western Pennsylvania Genealogy" to access the cemetery listings. Don't forget to sign my guestbook and list the surnames you are working on! Sherry Bish Jesberger

    3. Tom, thank you for your information. I think mine were in Armstrong Co. Do you know if your John may have married a 2nd time? In the ledger of a store in Atwood, Armstrong Co. in 1871\72, it has entries for W. H. McLain, John M. McLain, Alexander McLain & Dorcas McLain. So I think the spelling was McLain instead of McClain but I could be wrong. Back then they spelled the way it sounded. The store in Atwood was Johnstons & Martins. It looks like it was a general store not grocery. My Great Grandfather or Great Great was the bookkeeper or part owner or something, since I have two of the old ledgers, AND they are old!! Where is the Monongahela located? Gin
