    3. Lori, Barb, Lauri, Bobby, Faith, and Eunice and anyone else searching, Thank you, thank you for all of the information. My mother-in-law and I sat down and went over some of this information and I have been adding it to my FTM files. I have a few more questions and then I'll post it for you all. Wow, we are really filling in blanks. I wished all of my lines went this smoothly. LORI, on the file that you sent me, does Unknown, George Dallas, and Josheph Reed fall under David A.? I am assuming that that is your line....David A., Joseph Reed, Eugene Jane????? You must fall under Url J. "Mattie". AND I AGREE, we should all get together this summer. We just had a get together a few weeks ago here at our house for another side (relatives that I had met over the internet doing genealogy) and it was a huge success!!! People brought pictures, etc., and we scanned them here. 3. Does anyone have access to the member's list of Rockville Lutheran Church for the 1850 and 1860's. My great grandfather lived in Valley Township, Armstrong Co., PA. Peter Schule (Sheele) and wife, Rosanna. 2nd wife Anna Dorothea Ditmer Children: John, Rosie, Peter Paul by the 1st wife and William and Joseph by the 2nd. I am trying to find the baptismal records of these children, hoping to find out where in Germany there parents were from. On Anna Dorothea's obit in Dickson Co., TN, she was supposed to be a Lutheran and later became a Missionary Baptist. Any info would be appreciated. Glenda

    3. Laurie, Frantz,Francis, Frank REARICK Married Catherine WAMPLER (17mar 1844-27 mar 1921), dau of David and Susannah BEER. Children John Boyer and Benjamin F were born in W VA and it seems likely that Francis died there. His widow Catherine married her brother in law Enos Ebenezer RIVER, husband of her deceased sister Mary, moving to Ohio. She became a widow again, marrying John WHITED on 14 Aug 1907. Info on this 3rd marriage is from Arm Co Marriage records and Wagner History. Catherine is buried in Oakland Cem, Mahoning Twp, Indiana Co PA. Her and her third husband lived in Jefferson CO PA. Children of Frantz and Catherine from Fed Census and Wagner History are the same except I have no Maggie but a Pearl instead. Lawrence died 1943. Solomon died 14 Oct 1944. Lydia's birth year is only given as abt 1869 married a Pud Newman. Jesse Calvert 1872. Pearl abt 1874 died before 1880.Benjamin Francis 15 Aug 1876 - 14 may 1954. I have John Boyer's death as the 28 Dec 1936 in Butler. 2. Susan and listers: Regarding the post below, what is the URL/site for "Treasures of the Past"? Thank you for your time. Marybeth Corrigall [email protected] --------------------- << Hi, If you haven't tried Treasures of the Past under the rootsweb.com. freepages area, please do. Look on rootsweb homepage and the freepages category is found in the lower left-hand corner. Clip on that, type in 'treasures' and it will take you to lots and lots of information, from cemetery and funeral home info, to marriages, to historical book info, to other researchers' names working on your lines, to orphans court records. Be sure to explore all of the site-it grows day by day. The first few times I was on it, I didn't realize its scope and only found a few cemetary records. A kind lister in FL suggested that I check it again and be sure to go to the bottom of the site where the search box was and BINGO-now I have two gg grandparents' burial, lots of additional info on their siblings-even found some I knew about, but didn't realize lived in that area. There are also maps with owners names, and mapped cemetery's that you click on and it gives you all who are buried there and often their spouse and children are identifiable because the plot numbers are listed. Have you had someone on PACen do a census lookup for you? They are very kind and will check one person/request. Subscribe to that rootsweb list also. I am sure you have checked the archives, just in case you haven't recently, keep returning as it changes dramatically by the week. Locally I have a friend who is working on the Young family, but I think his are in Erie county. I'll check with him and let you know. Susan Eppich ______________________________

    2. Robin, Hi and thanks for your response! I don't yet see a tie in, but am really start starting on my Reed line, actually I have only been researching my family genealogy for about a month now! So, I really don't know anything other than my ggGrandmother, Mary E Reed 's name! I think I might have found her family (parents) in the censuses, but am trying to verify that info! I will keep your info on file and will let you know if I find where it ties in to mine! I will share whatever I come up with! As far as my Johnston line, I think, but am not sure just yet, that it starts with my late grandfather who was born and resided in Indiana County, Indiana, PA! He went to school with Jimmy Stewart (the late actor)! But I have no other info on his family just yet. I have send for his Social Security Application Copy, but probably won't get anything back on that for another couple of months! Again, thanks! I will keep you info onhand, and will let you know if I find any tie-ins with our ancestors...please let me know if you find out anything as well! I appreciate your response! One of their daughters Roseanne Young Reddick b. 1816 PA named a son William Reed/Reid Reddick. The Reddick family had Butler and Armstrong CO ties. Her maiden name was Mary E Reed (b. about 1864 in PA) (she was of Armstrong and Clarion Counties in PA).  She married David W. Young (b.about 1860 in PA).  From looking through the censuses for the time period of her youth and those areas of PA, I find only one Mary E Reed that fits her age, name and location.   The family I find, that may possibly be her family is that of Aaron Reed b. about 1835 in PA m. to Susannah ? (Williard maybe)b. about 1845 in PA.  They are shown in the 1880 census as having the following children Mary E Reed (I believe this may be my ggGrandma, same name, same age)b. about 1864, William H Reed b. about 1865, James Reed b. about 1866, Sarah Reed b. about 1868, John A Reed b. about 1870, Emma Reed b. about 1872, Susanah Reed b. about 1874, George E Reed b. about 1876, and Irvin Reed b. about 1879 (all born in PA) I am wondering if any of you know of this Reed family from the 1880 census, especially Mary E Reed (the daughter) and who she married.  I am looking to see if she is the Mary E Reed that did in fact marry my ggGrandfather David W Young, making her my ggGrandmother???   Depending on the census years determining whether it was Armstrong or Clarion County, these families of Reed and Young, along with my other ancestors the Sherman family lived closed by eachother (often same Street/Road)! I appreciate any help that you can offer!  Thank you very much! ~Karen George Smith ...Searching Family Tree surnames: George,Chestnut,Adams,Boone,Bowser/Bausser,Edelmann,Sherman, Young,Heeter,Reed,Johnston,Corson(Courson),Downing...(Many from in/around Armstrong,Clarion,Berks,Northumberland Co.'s of PA) >>
