You can also find a list at the Clarion Historical Society. It is not complete, but very useful. I have tried looking in the Alcola Trinity Cemetery but some of the headstones are missing or so old they can't be read. Not sure what to do next. Thanks for the help, Michelle -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Monday, May 21, 2001 10:00 PM Subject: PAARMSTR-D Digest V01 #129
As I found out from a visit there last week, the Borough of New Bethlehem keeps the records for this cemetery and maintains it. We stopped at the borough building but were unable to find anyone in. Then we called. The supervisor of streets has the records, you have to call ahead and make an appointment with him.

Nancy Buzzard Moorhead is supposed to be buried in the New Bethleham Cemetery. She died January 3, 1868. It would be interesting to know if this is true. Does this cemetery keep records of who is buried their? If so I would like their address so I can contact them for further information. Thank you, Janice [email protected]
Bill, I have William T. Reedy Walls b. 9/12/1874; d. 4/23/1930; m. Sarah Della Rupp 4/14/1897. William T. Reedy Walls is the only issue Sarah Reedy Walls and F. Walls. I have the descendants of William T. Reedy Walls down if you would like that. I am looking for more information of F. Walls, father of William T. Reedy Walls. WTR Walls was my great grandfather. Faith
This isn't my line, but in the 1880 Census Sarah was living with her parents and their is a son William Walls who is 6 years old. Donna
Dear Faith, Ed Wagner had 2 sons and a daughter. I don't know which of the boys went by Owen, but in their mother's obit, Florence is listed, William is listed and there was a son Dean. He played baseball with my father. I have Ed Wagner's obit also his wife. Donna

Can you let me know too, how far the paper goes back. I have an ancestor that died in 1839 and 1838. I have had no luck in finding them. They were John and Hannah Grinder. The last known place was in Putneyville. I checked the Putneyville Cemetery with no luck. Are there records of Putneyville Cemetery in case they did not have a marker? There is a Redbank Twp., in both Armstrong and Clarion Counties. They are separated by the Redbank Creek. The Leader-Vindicator (its name now), does not go back that far. The library in Clarion, and New Bethlehem have the newspaper on microfilm, and it starts around 1890. They are missing some years (estimated guess) from about 1900 to 1915, or so. I live in Redbank Twp. The library in New Bethlehem, Clarion Co., has a paper called the Vindicator. But I doubt it go's back to 1846. I can find out for you. Do you have any idea where Michael was buried? In case you didn't know Redbank Twp. is in Clarion and Armstrong counties. The town of New Bethlehem sets right on the county line. The biggest cemetery in this town is the New Bethlehem Cemetery. It is very large and old. I walk up there so I will keep an eye out for a Michael Buzzard. I know there are Buzzard surnames in that cemetery. Hi all, don't know if you've visited lately, but my sister has been transcribing the biographies from "Biographical And Historical Cyclopedia Of Indiana and Armstrong Counties, Pennsylvania" which was published in 1891. Stop by the website and click on Biography Project. There is about 150 done so far. Nate Nathan Zipfel Armstrong County Genealogy Project Co-Host http://www.pa-roots.com/~armstrong/
